For The Breast Of Us, Baddie x 2 series is an intimate moment in time grasping the interaction between two baddies as they discuss being diagnosed, thrivorship, and everything that comes in between. We hope that you enjoy this amazing series and that it sparks a dialogue amongst the breast cancer community.

A blog can be therapeutic in its own right. While I expressed my feelings through the written word, now I can use my spoken word in my journey forward.
I don’t want to be strong every day of my life and guess what it’s ok to not be. I have a village that picks up the days I am feeling weak and just don’t want to be strong anymore.
I believe that there has to be an energetic change at a fundamental level or our bodies will find their way back to the same loop that created the cancer to begin with.

The most important lesson I’ve learned in being a breast cancer survivor is that I can do things on my terms and define what survivorship looks like for me.
Starting with myself, if I realign my thoughts about the things that I cannot control, it will reduce the negative impact this disease can have on myself and those who love me.
