Marissa Thomas and Jasmine Souers founded For the Breast of Us in May 2019. Together, they’ve built a thriving breast cancer community specifically for women of color (African American, Latinx, Asian, Native American and more).

Along with the Ambassadors, the team at For the Breast of Us is well versed in the topics of breast cancer health disparities, patient advocacy, the importance of diversity and inclusion in the breast cancer community, navigating life after cancer, breast cancer advocacy, and the challenges faced by young women and African African women with breast cancer.
