Meet Tandria Edwards

My name is Tandria, but call me Tan. I’m a single mother of twins. I moved to Georgia right before the pandemic hit and that was the same year I felt my lumps in my right breast. After my 30th birthday I decided to make an appointment to see my primary care physician; after seeing her I was sent for a mammogram and ultrasound. While I was there they scheduled me for a biopsy, I was scared but tried to remain optimistic for my young kids.

I don’t want to be strong every day of my life and guess what it’s ok to not be. I have a village that picks up the days I am feeling weak and just don’t want to be strong anymore.
